As I set my Kemper up a few months ago, I remember having to format the USB first by putting a brand ne one into the Kemper first so the Kemper could format the USB flash drive…Once that is done it is pretty easy after that for up dating…. My buddy just got his Kemper and is trying to up date his Kemper. He put a brand new $60 USB in the Kemper and nothing happened he said….I was not available to guide him through the process. Plus I don't really remember. I read the manual on this just now but it seems to not be very clear on the first couple steps…. I said try it again…. He did and I believe he erased the USB…. and now it will not format in the Kemper….
Question… Is the USB not usable now??? Thus he wasted $60 ??? or is there a way to still use it???
If he got a small size new USB, to learn how to do this procedure, how small of a flash drive can it be????
Can I use my USB Flah drive that I formatted in my Kemper, to up date his????
Sorry guy's as I am learning to use the forum here and I posted this in the 'Rotary Speed' question I had….
I will learn to do better… then help others as I learn...Thank You for your help
God BlessWally
