ICP CON communication driver is the driver to communicate with controller of Measurement Systems Ltd. in U.K.
1. Read Settings
ICP DAS USA provides USB Converters that function as signal conversion from USB to RS-232/422/485 or CAN industrial data communication. We also provide Industrial USB Hubs. Our USB converters are made of Fire Retardant Materials (UL94-V0 Level).
- In order to apply the DCON protocol communication for InduSoft software, ICP DAS provides DCON v2.20 in the InduSoft driver. By means of the driver, you don't need to have the complex and abstruse background of DCON protocols. Only few simple steps can finish the settings of communication between your PC and the remote/local devices.
- Fully Compliant with the USB 1.1/2.0/3.0 3000 VDC Isolation Protection on the RS-232/422/485 side.

Device part of <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(9600), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively, according to controller.

ICP CON communication driver read schedule
Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:
1) Station – 0 ~ 255 controller station number. You can set by setup program of ICP-CON.
2) Read command – Command = AI, DI, AO, DO.
3) Read Start Address – Read start address of controller.
4) Save start address for Communication Server – Saving start address of Communication Server.

2. Writing settings
You can control ICP CON controller by using write settings
Digital Write
Digital write setting parameters are as follows:
1) PORT Port no. (0 ~ 255)
2) STATION 0 ~ 255 controller station number.
3) ADDRESS Writing address of ICP CON controller.
4) Extra1 Writing area = DO.
5) Extra2 Don't care.
Write example 1)
PORT:0, station:1, ADDRESS:0000, Extra1: DO, Extra2 :
The setting parameter shown above is a 1st( 0 ) channel DO control( On/Off ) example of 1 station ICP CON controller.
Analog Write
Analog write setting parameters are as follows:
1) PORT Port no. (0 ~ 255)
2) STATION 0 ~ 255 controller station number.
3) ADDRESS Writing address of ICP CON controller.
4) Extra1 Writing area = AO.
5) Extra2 Don't care.

The setting parameter shown above is a 1st( 0 ) channel AO setting example of 1 station ICP CON controller.
3. Connection of communication cable
Please connect direct RS-232C serial communication cable to ICP CON controller.
